Bruce A. Soll has served for more than 35 years as a Counselor/Advisor to boards, senior U.S. government officials and family offices. Bruce served at L Brands, in Columbus, OH from 1991 through 2020. Prior to joining L Brands, he served as Counsellor to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. He has served as an advisor to senior U.S. government officials focusing on policy matters including trade and technology. He was an economics and political science graduate from Claremont McKenna College in 1979. He graduated from USC Law School in 1982 and is a member of the California Bar. Bruce presently serves or has served on numerous boards including the Columbus Foundation, Columbus Downtown Development Corporation, Capitol South Corporation, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, The Ohio State University’s Wexner Center for the Arts Foundation, the Center for Human Rights Leadership at Claremont McKenna College, the Jewish Theological Seminary, the Robert F. Wolfe & Edgar T. Wolfe Foundation, the Ohio Export Promotion and Trade Council, River South Authority, Alliance Data Systems and the Ohio Bicentennial Commission. He and his wife Joy have three sons and reside in Bexley, Ohio.
