Emerging Leaders Reception taps the under 40 energy
JewishColumbus held a leadership reception for emerging leaders 40 and under yesterday, April 11. Participants represented Jewish agencies, synagogues, and community boards from around Columbus. More than 55 emerging and current community leaders gathered to discuss what leadership is, as well as how to lead as a community and on an individual level.
Rabbi B. Elka Abrahamson, President of the Wexner Foundation, and Audrey Tuckerman, chair of the Jewish Federation Legacy Board, led this exciting conversation. Participants left with new ideas and a reinvigorated energy.
This is the third leadership reception held by JewishColumbus for this age group. JewishColumbus strives to be the convener for young leaders in the community. A fourth program is planned in the fall and a leadership development program is being developed to begin soon after the High Holidays.
