The Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus will be the scene of IsraelFest on Thursday, April 23, the community’s Yom Ha’atzmaut festival between 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm. The program celebrates 67 years of Israeli independence. A special feature this year will be a concert by Quinta and a Half – an Israeli a cappella group. Quinta is comprised of 6 young singers from Kfar Saba. The program highlights the Partnership2Gether initiative with Kfar Saba.
Partnership2Gether creates long-term partnerships and builds a living bridge between Columbus and Kfar Saba.
The Quinta ensemble was founded in 2006 by its musical manager and producer Doron Ben-Ami, who also produced for the Galron Ensemble, which toured to Columbus last year. The Quinta and a Half performance will be at 6:30 pm.
