Patricia Finkelman

Biography

Currently an active community volunteer in central Ohio, Patricia Finkelman has held leadership positions on the boards of the Granville Community Foundation, the Jefferson Avenue Center, and the Women’s Fund of Central Ohio. In May 2019, she retired from the Grinnell College Board of Trustees. During her 21-year tenure as a trustee, she served as Board Chair (2015-2019) and Board Vice-Chair (2007-2010); chaired the Budget, Development, and Governance Committees, as well as the Board Development Steering Committee; and served on two Presidential Search Committees. She was later appointed Development Director, St. Joseph Montessori School, Columbus, OH. A graduate of Grinnell College (BA, Economics, 1980), Patricia received an MBA from the Yale School of Management in 1987. She and her husband Dan live in Granville and are members of Temple Israel where they have both served in a variety of volunteer positions. They have two grown daughters, Leah (Engagement Manager, Teens and Camping, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, Boston) and Micah (Marketplace Integrity Specialist, Teachers Pay Teachers, New York City).
