Robert Glick & William Glick
As lifelong residents of the Columbus Jewish community, we were brought up with a strong example set by our family, maintaining their commitment to support all kinds of Jewish charitable services. Our father, Frank A. Glick, was one of the original 8 or 9 men who established what is now known as the Columbus Jewish Federation, and was then known as The United Jewish Fund and Council, which I believe was established in 1926.
Our grandfather, Adolph Glick, came over to this country on a ship with Rabbi Isaac Mayer Wise who established the reform movement in this country. Our grandfather was instrumental in making it possible for Rabbi Wise to immigrate to this country. It is our commitment and tradition to support Jewish causes and we hope that our gifts may help continue supporting and perpetuating our heritage after we are no longer here.
