Outdoor Brewery Curling with Young Jewish Columbus

  •  February 17, 2022
     6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

Join Young Jewish Columbus for Brewery Curling and Outdoor Igloos at Land-Grant Brewing Company!

Connect with other Jewish young professionals outdoor winter activity – who knows? You could be a pro! While it’s all fun and games, there are some rules you’ll need to follow in order to participate in Brewery Curling.

All participants are required to sign a waiver prior to playing. The ice is for the kegs, not for players, so if you can’t reach the keg, just let a staff member know and they’ll get it for you. In the spirit of fun and games, remain respectful of the neighboring curling lanes.

If you’re wondering how you win, here’s the breakdown. The team that has the highest number of accumulated points at the completion of ten ends is the winner. and “end” is when each team has thrown all of their kegs and the score has been decided.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
– Like all JewishColumbus events, you will need to show proof of vaccination to join us and participate.
– Space is limited on the ice, but there will also be a few outdoor igloos reserved for you to gather with friends and warm up!
– We’ll have to abide by Land-Grant’s capacity limits for the curling lanes and igloos, so please follow guidance from LG staff

A NOTE ABOUT WEATHER
Given that brewery curling is a weather-dependent activity and the unpredictability of central Ohio weather – there is a chance that our reservation may be cancelled because of the ice conditions. YJC will post updates on Instagram, Facebook, and send an email to attendees if anything changes. We everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time playing this winter!
