Campers must attend camp for a minimum of 12 days to be considered for a scholarship.
Scholarship amounts are determined based on several factors including financial need, tuition, and length of camp session.
The application window for Summer 2025 is November 15, 2024 – February 14, 2025.
Campers who have applied for the One Happy Camper (OHC) grant are NOT eligible to apply for this scholarship. If your child is attending Jewish overnight camp for the first time, we strongly encourage you to apply at www.onehappycamper.org for need-blind grants up to $1,000. OHC grants are based the length of the camp session.
Campers traveling to Israel as part of the camp experience must choose between applying for a camp scholarship OR utilizing JewishColumbus’ Israel Experience Grant if eligible. Only one source of funding is possible.
JewishColumbus encourages you to reach out to your synagogue and camp to inquire about additional scholarship opportunities.
If you change your plans for camp at any point after submitting your application, you must notify JewishColumbus of the change immediately and request that your application be updated or canceled.
