April started as a member of the Jewish Federation of Columbus in 2011 as an accounting assistant and later evolved to administrator of finance as the organization grew into JewishColumbus.

She handles donor account relations ensuring donor pledges and payments are entered and applied appropriately for the various JewishColumbus campaigns. Monthly, she reconciles donor accounts and quarterly, she processes donor statements.

For both Legacy Jewish Federation of Columbus and JewishColumbus, April processes the numerous daily deposits and cash applications, bi-weekly accounts payable and monthly bank reconciliations and maintains vendor contracts, petty cash, postage accounts and various other items. 

She came to us with 15 years experience in various accounting and finance roles that she held within the corporate world and a degree from Franklin University in financial management. With her experience and education, April has used this knowledge to automate many of the accounting processes and streamline the daily tasks performed within the department as well as help to review and transition JewishColumbus to new accounting and database systems.
