Kathy Podlasiak has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems from DeVry University.  Having spent most of her career in the Finance/IT field, she came to JewishColumbus from a local government agency where she was the Fiscal Officer.  She enjoys working in accounting, learning new systems, and working with a wonderful team here at JewishColumbus.    

Kathy is celebrating her 20^th anniversary this year being married to her husband Steve.  Her only son Nick passed away at 29 years of age in 2023 from brain cancer after a 2-year battle to beat the awful disease.  She has 3 wonderful grown step-children (2 are nurses) and a beautiful new step-granddaughter named Mia Rose whom she spends as much time as possible.

Kathy volunteers her spare time working with a local brain cancer awareness group in honor of the life of her amazing son. She enjoys gardening, spending time with her family, playing guitar, watching football, going to concerts, and Columbus Bluejackets games. She loves crafting, cooking, baking home projects, and playing with her rescue dog, Boomer.
