Nicki Blumenau Bloch was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, part of a large extended family. She moved with her family to Texas after high school, where she attended college and met her husband Dan Bloch. After living in New Orleans for 10 years, Dan and Nicki moved to Bexley where they raised their two daughters, Julie and Laura. Nicki is a consultant, working on Telephony systems for State Agencies. She has always been active in social justice causes, and served multiple terms as president of the Columbus Section of the National Council of Jewish Women. She is an active member of Tifereth Israel, a yoga teacher and practitioner, and the author of two novels. She is excited to contribute further to the Columbus Jewish Community by serving on the JewishColumbus board.
