Meet Tamar David Yaari, our Diamond Family Foundation RootOne Senior Shaliach! Tamar is an enthusiastic educator with a deep passion for Jewish and Israeli identity, community building, and making a meaningful impact through education and peoplehood. Tamar holds a Bachelor of Education and Political Science, as well as a teaching certificate in Citizenship and Interdisciplinary Teaching, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Tamar brings extensive experience in educational work with Jewish communities in both North America and Israel, engaging with a variety of age groups and programs. She is also skilled in project management, particularly in community-focused and educational initiatives.
Born in Israel and raised in both Israel and Boston, Tamar has a unique cross-cultural perspective. She has recently moved to Columbus from the town of Binyamina, Israel, along with her husband Regev and their puppy Albi.
Tamar is eager to make a positive impact through community-wide collaborations and to bring Israel closer to the Columbus community. She is excited to join the vibrant Jewish community in the area and looks forward to getting to know everyone.
