Yom HaZikaron, taking place at the JCC on April 29th, in collaboration with the JCC and Friends of the IDF, along with the Jewish Agency for Israel, will host a solemn ceremony commemorating fallen heroes through prayer, song, speeches, and candle lighting.
The event will feature two Israeli guests who will share their personal stories, Jewish community leaders from Columbus, Israeli songs, and an in-person delegation and video representation from our partnership city of Kfar Saba. The ceremony will conclude with the singing of HaTikvah and the distribution of yahrzeit candles.

Celebrate at the JCC on May 1st from 5:30 – 8:00 PM, coinciding with Israel’s 77th birthday celebration. This year, we will celebrate by hosting a culinary delegation of 4 individuals from our partner city, Kfar Saba.
The event’s theme is a “Flavors of Israel,” with the culinary delegation representing the following communities: Ethiopian, Druze, Kibbutz, and an IDF Widow specializing in Tripolian food. Partner agencies have once again been invited to lead a variety of projects.
